Description :
Prevent tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis.
Age Criteria :
19 years and older.
Doses :
1 Dose.
Intervals :
Every 10 years or after 5 years in the case of a severe or dirty wound or burn.
Contra-Indication :
- A person who has ever had a life-threatening allergic reaction after a previous dose of diphtheria, tetanus or pertussis containing vaccine, or has a severe allergy to any part of this vaccine. Has seizures or another nervous system problem.
- Has ever had Guillain-Barré Syndrome (also called “GBS”) should not get Tdap vaccine.
Adverse Effect :
Pain, redness, or swelling where the shot was given, mild fever, headache, feeling tired, and nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomachache sometimes happen after Tdap vaccination.
