Description :
Protects your child from against hepatitis B, a potentially serious disease.
Protects other people from the disease because children with hepatitis B usually don’t have symptoms, but they may pass the disease to others without anyone knowing they were infected.
Prevents your child from developing liver disease and cancer from hepatitis B.
Age Criteria :
- At birth.
- Catch up immunization: 12 months to 18 yrs old.
Dose & Interval :
3 doses.
(0-1-6)
1st dose : on elected date.
2nd dose : 1 month after the 1st dose.
3rd dose : 6 months after the 1st dose. Protected for as long as 15 years.
Contra-Indication :
Anyone who has had a serious allergic reaction to a prior dose of hepatitis B vaccine, any part of the vaccine, or yeast should not get the hepatitis B vaccine.
Adverse Effect :
Low fever or soreness from the shot.
Note: Not to be administered in buttock or intradermally.
