Prevents cancer-causing infections and precancers that can lead to cancer of the cervix, vagina, vulva, penis, anus, mouth and throat.
Age Criteria :
15 years old and older.
0, 2 and 6 months.
HPV vaccine is contraindicated for persons with a history of immediate hypersensitivity to any vaccine component, including yeast. The precaution to HPV vaccine is a moderate or severe acute illness with or without fever. Vaccination should be deferred until the condition improves.
Adverse Effect :
Pain, redness, nausea, headache or swelling in the arm where the shot was given
Dizziness or fainting , is more common among adolescents
