      Description :

      A hexavalent vaccine, or 6-in-1 vaccine, is a combination vaccine with six individual vaccines conjugated into one, intended to protect babies against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenza type B and hepatitis B.

       

      Age Criteria :

      6 weeks to 24 months of age.

       

      Doses :

      3 Doses.                                    

       

      Interval :

      • For primary vaccination schedule: one to two months interval
      • Booster: at least 6 months after the last dose of primary vaccination

       

      Contra-Indication :

      A confirmed anaphylactic reaction to any component of the vaccine.

       

      Adverse Effect :

      Swelling, pain and redness at the injection site, loss of appetite, fever of 38ºC or more, tiredness, abnormal crying, irritability and restlessness.
