Description :
Meningococcal is the most common cause of invasive meningococcal disease in children, adolescents, and young adults. Vaccination is the best way to prevent the spread of meningococcal disease.
Age Criteria :
19 years and older.
Doses :
1 Dose.
Intervals :
Booster : Revaccinate every 5 years as long as the person remains at increased risk of infection
Contra-Indication :
A person who has ever had a severe allergic reaction (e.g., anaphylaxis) after a previous dose. A person who has a severe allergy to any vaccine component.
Adverse Effect :
Pain, redness and swelling at injection site, occasionally an injection-site lump (may last many weeks - no treatment needed), mild fever.
